Favorite Show

So, what’s your favorite type of show to attend and even participate in by going to special events and dressing up?

1) Anime

2) Steampunk

3) Goth

4) Comic/entertainment (i.e. Comic Con, Wonder Con, Gen Con, Dragon Con)

5) Literary (i.e. Robert Jordan, Wheel of Time Con, Robert E. Howard Conan Festival)

6) Electronic (i.e. video gaming, E3)

7) Why just one? I like them all!

I’d have to put comic and steampunk high on our list, but you can help us decide where to exhibit. We’d like to meet you. And I mean it this time.

SD Comic Con 2015

ComicCon 2015

So, you want to go? Then keep February 21st open on your calendar. 9 AM PST to be more exact as that’s when online registration opens for the 2015 edition. Running from July 8-12 you’ll see all the best and brightest from the entertainment industry crash in one place. Quite a sight actually.

The landing page says you’ll need to be in the “room” before registration starts and you need to be enrolled with their Member ID system as well. Which means you need to prep really early and jump through some hoops. I think there was something about your first born in there too.

Prices range from $35 to $50 for single day passes, with discounts going to children, senior’s and military.

Happy 13th!

It wouldn’t be the 13th without remembering that campy slasher classic, hmm, what was the name of it again?

Happy 13th

Do you know how many movies have been made in the series and about the series? A ton, but 12 to be exact. Ironically there are plans for another in 2016 which makes it 13. That just seems like the right thing to do.

Other than the death and destruction, Camp Crystal Lake is really a nice place to visit.

Replica License Plates

We’re proud to be working with an American company making things in the good ‘ol U.S. of A. out of high quality materials. The plates are even pressed with a plate maker from an old prison! The addition of prop replica license plates is a cool category we hadn’t hit on before. They’re really a talking point in a display or on a vehicle and even better when you can get to a convention and get one of the related actors to sign them. Really unique.

Replica License Plates

We’ve added plates from 23 different TV shows and movies. Still, if you don’t see one you like let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
